No Flat Earth

There’s an old saying on the east coast: “Florida has the oranges, but Jersey’s got the juice!’’. Well, thanks to No Flat Earth, Jersey’s also got the Coils. These guys are definitely one of our favorite dealers. Kirk and I have shaped a lot of customs through them ranging from small-wave Springfish to Afterburner step-ups for travel (and for those Jersey pits that put the capital ‘’J” in Juice). Several guys are working up to 3 and 4 board Coil quivers. I guess we’re doing something they like!

This is a core shop with an owner who’s in the store and in the water. His name is Mark Colino, and you might see him out at Casino Pier on his Coil Grid 4-fin, surfing with his customers. No Flat Earth is in Brick, NJ. If you call the shop at 732 262 8404, chances are Mark will be there, or you can email
noflatearth@verizon.net .

On Saturday, July 25
th, there is going to be a meeting of Coil riders (organized on the internet as a “Coil Convention’’). It’ll be a chance to meet other Coil surfers, compare boards, and maybe test a little. Also a good opportunity for those interested in Coil to see some boards and talk to the people who ride them.Maybe get a surf on one if you ask nice. Location is Spring Lake, time is early am (beat the guards, etc). NFE will have info as date nears. We’re still trying to figure out who is hosting lunch afterwards… (just kidding).

Mike Daniel reporting ....

ScrollBar

I received reports from several people saying they can’t see the scrollbar on the “words page”( and some other issues as well ). This seems to be happening to those who use Internet Explorer as their web browser. Rest assured, the toolbar is there and I am working to fix the glitch!
If you see anything else that sucks out loud please, let me know!

thanks guys
Kirk

Pete

Sometimes, we need a little help from our friends.... thank you, Pete Dooley, for all the handholding in getting this site up!

Mez

I put a call in to Richard Meseroll for his advise, and he ended up letting us in on his photo of Noah (during the Battle of the Banks) - Sickness!!

Thanks, Mez!

POPE

On one of my first blogs, I would like to thank Larry Pope for his photo work ... a true master in capturing the vibe with his camera! Thanks, Larry!

Welcome

Welcome to Coil Industries

Thank you for checking us out. This site represents my first foray into website construction. My work day has been a real contradiction as of late...building surfboards at a highest level during the day, then delving into website construcion at night .... whew, it's been a bumpy ride. I had no idea how much is involved with this internet thing, my hat's off to all the pro web guys out there! Anyway, for us, building surfboards will always remain first priority .... but i am kinda diggin this, so keep checking back! My hope is that this site will be an ongoing (and hopefully better) project, worthy of your time.

peace
Kirk
